"Once in a blue moon," a traditional phrase used to indicate an absurd or rare occurrence is now a phrase used to show a second full moon within a span of a month. Out of the blue, my cousin (Rafik Rabehi) and I decided to go to Santa Cruz and take some shots of the sunset. All our equipment was ready and pointed towards the horizon until we noticed the beauty of the moon. The majestic blue that embodied the moon had a gentle and soothing impression on us. Hopefully the following photos can give you a glimpse.
Most of the photos are credited to, Rafik Rabehi, who has great photography skills. Good Times! Sources Blue Moon over North America - NASA What's a Blue Moon? - Sky & Telescope
