Bryan Renshaw - Hambaba Curls

My Trainer at 24 Hour Fitness, Bryan Renshaw (Mr. California) showed me an exercise that he developed to increase the apex of the bicep. He didn’t have a name for his idea, so I suggested him to name the exercise after his one of his favorite students. He eventually decided to name the new exercise the “Hambaba curls”, the exercise is simple but reaps many benefits

  1. Take dumbell
  2. Hold the dumbell with both hands like a dinner plate (make sure wrists are flat and straight). Note: Make your hands form a triangle underneath the dubmbell to hold
  3. Starting Position: The starting position is with you arms extended down
  4. End Position: Raise the dumbell to your chest with keeping your wrists straight the whole time.

Important: Very important tip treat the dumbell like a dinner plate and pretend you don’t want to spill anything so make sure the dumbellĀ  is even the whole time, this will make the move focus more on the apex of the bicep.
