Question 3
Focus: Open-Ended Question Rationale: This question seeks to give students the opportunity to share important aspects of their schooling or their lives - such as their personal circumstances, family experiences and opportunities that were or were not available at their school or college - that may not have been sufficiently addressed elsewhere in the application. Question: Is there anything you would like us to know about you or your academic record that you have not had the opportunity to describe elsewhere in this application? My years at De Anza College have been a tremendous contribution to my perspective on life. I am grateful for the opportunities given to me through the years, and continue to return back the gracious favors. An often repeated phrase, actions speak louder than words, a phrase which rightly reflects my individuality and is an indication of my potential contribution. With this as my motive I would like to continue my studies with the University of California to allow the further involvement on resource management in hope to provide better resource policies for society. This will allow me to engage in the world providing practical solutions readily available to the community. A resolution that can be of great benefit in averting resource based friction between nations for limited resources. Although we live in a complex society, the solutions overwhelmingly seem to have precedents and answers in the past. Here is to a new future from an old one. "The most virtuous behavior is to engage those who sever relations, to give to those who withhold from you, and to forgive those who wrong you." (Prophet Muhammad)
