Thankfully I was reminded by the Cal MSA about the Lunar Eclipse that will occur onFebruary 21st, 2008 February 20th, 2008 which will be on Safar 15 1429 AH Safar 14 1429 AH from 5:43pm - 9:09pm. More information about the eclipse from NASA (host on moonsighting.com). Within the prophetic tradition a prayer is performed during the eclipse know as Salatul Kasuf and also to make supplications and give charity, Fiqh-us-Sunnah, Volume 2: Salatul Kasuf, prayer of the solar and lunar eclipse.
