Google Gears
is the latest creation from Google, but this product didn't go through the Google Labs as other famous Google products have before it (ie Google Docs, Google Maps, Google Desktop, and more. It seems Google has been working on this concept for some time and there has been a lot of rumors about Google entering Microsoft's arena: Software Applications. Google's approach is rather unique because they first built great online applications and now they are making them available offline.

"Once in a blue moon," a traditional phrase used to indicate an absurd or rare occurrence is now a phrase used to show a second full moon within a span of a month. Out of the blue, my cousin (Rafik Rabehi) and I decided to go to Santa Cruz and take some shots of the sunset. All our equipment was ready and pointed towards the horizon until we noticed the beauty of the moon. The majestic blue that embodied the moon had a gentle and soothing impression on us. Hopefully the following photos can give you a glimpse.

As a student and resident at Berkeley, I can firmly state that a masjid is greatly needed in Berkeley for both the students and community. Please support this great project in whatever way possible.
